TechTree Insights is not an academic digest. It is a historical fantasy web serial that builds narrative on verifiable evidence. We follow the principles below so readers can distinguish the historical record from imaginative storytelling.
Evidence and Narrative
The narrator, dialogue, emotions, named characters, and specific scenes in the story are fictional or imaginative reconstructions. When real people or events appear, unverified thoughts and dialogue are not presented as established history.
Dates, sites, artifacts, technological changes, and major scholarly interpretations are addressed separately in each episode's Historical Note. Where the evidence is inconclusive, we identify possibilities, estimates, and disputed interpretations as such.
Sources and Citations
We prioritize peer-reviewed research, official resources from museums, universities, research institutes and public agencies, excavation reports, and primary data. Books and news coverage may provide context, but material claims are checked against original sources whenever possible.
Key evidence is linked in the Historical Note with the source or institution identified. When one study cannot settle a question, we state the date range, uncertainty, and existence of competing interpretations. Copyright and terms of use for external material remain governed by each provider.
Corrections and Revisions
Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other edits that do not change meaning may be corrected without a separate notice.
Changes to dates, locations, artifact classifications, or research conclusions are reflected in the episode's modification date. When an earlier statement could have materially misled readers, the Historical Note will identify the correction and its reason. Older episodes may be updated as new research appears, but uncertainty is never removed merely to preserve the story.
Illustrations and Images
Episode illustrations are editorial images intended to support the reader's imagination. Unless a source and holding institution are explicitly identified, they should not be treated as artifact photography, documentary evidence, or scholarly reconstruction.
Some illustrations may involve digital production processes, including generative tools. Visual details are never used as evidence for historical claims; factual statements in the text are checked independently of the image.
Quoting and Linking
Links to TTI episodes and quotations may be used without permission. When quoting, please credit TechTree Insights as the source.
Quoting and linking are permitted, but publishing a translation or commercially reusing images or manuscripts requires separate permission.
