TechTree Insights is a historical fantasy web serial narrated by a man who has lived for more than 3.3 million years and witnessed civilization firsthand.

His memories carry the story from the first stone tools through fire, agriculture, writing, law, industry, computers, and AI.

To develop insight for the AI era, we explore what major technologies meant in their own time and how they changed societies and everyday life. By learning how those changes connect, we aim to broaden our thinking and better understand the present and the changes ahead.

Encyclopedias contain extraordinary knowledge, but when every entry carries similar weight, the forces that truly moved civilization can be difficult to see. TechTree Insights selects essential changes and events that become more meaningful when understood together, then connects them into one continuous sequence.

This is a project for increasing the resolution with which we understand the world. Instead of memorizing isolated facts, it traces what gave rise to the next transformation and presents those connections as stories designed to remain in memory.

Its characters and scenes are imaginative reconstructions, while the eras, sites, and technological changes are grounded in verifiable historical and archaeological evidence.

Historical notes distinguish established evidence from open questions. Only published episodes appear on the timeline.
